What’s On in December


Activities can be added or changed during the month.  Please check the list on our website for the latest situation

The Globe Christmas Fair - Saturday 3rd December 10am to 1pm

Storytime for 0-4 years.  Fridays 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd December 10.30am
 
Code Club - Mondays 5th and 12th December.  4-5pm.  Every Monday in term time. For 9–13-year-olds. 

Lego Club - Tuesdays 6th and 20th December 4-5pm. For 5–11-year-olds. 

Silver Surfers’ iPad Workshop.  Tuesdays 6th and 13th December. For all ages, 2-3pm.  Sign up in the library. 
 
CAB Drop-in - Tuesdays 6th, 13th and 20th December. 2-5pm. Please check our website for any changes.
 
The Globe Knitters – Tuesdays 6th, 13th and 20th December. 2-4pm.
 
Robotics Club – Tuesdays 6th and 13th December. 4-5.30pm for 9–18-year-olds.

Robinson Writers’ Workshop - Thursday 8th December 12-1pm

Repair Café – Saturday 10th December 10am-12noon.  Repairing broken items together, professional advice and coffee/tea.  A voluntary contribution welcome.

Toy Sale – Monday 12th to Saturday 17th December – donated toys that have been checked, repaired (if needed) and sanitised.  Choose what you wish and make a donation to Zoë’s Place.

Chess Club - Tuesday 13th December.  For all ages and abilities. drop-in 3.30-5pm.

The Marvellous Mystical Musical Box - Wednesday 14th December 7-9pm. A pantomime with songs and puppets.  Tickets from the library.

Christmas Storytime - Friday 16th December 10.30am …. with a special guest!

Book Launch - Saturday 17th December 10am.  Launch of local author Elizabeth Green’s book for children, The Adventures of Detective Dopeyworth. Be a detective and solve mystery activities.  Aged 6+

Carols in the Library - Monday 19th December, 2pm.  Come and sing with the U3A Choir.
