Welcome to the Globe, your community library at Stokesley, managed and delivered by volunteers, in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council.
The Globe started as a community-run library on 1 April 2017 and was officially opened on 15 June 2017 by celebrated historical novelist and academic Philippa Gregory.
We serve Stokesley and surrounding districts, including Ingleby Greenhow, Seamer, Carlton, Great Broughton, Ingleby Arncliffe, Swainby and Chopgate.

We are used to answering all types of enquires.
We have a wide range of books available to borrow.
Volunteers can be anyone over the age of 16!
Friends of The Globe are invited to key events!
Local businesses are invited to become Sponsors.
Alan Sidgwick will be hosting another of his quizzes in the library on Tuesday 7th June, 7pm for 7.30pm start.

The library will close at 6.30 pm on Tuesday 31st May and reopen 9.30am on Saturday 4th June
Volunteer to be a Reading Hack! Work with our Junior members through the school holiday. Training given.
