Welcome to the Globe, your community library at Stokesley, managed and delivered by volunteers, in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council.
The Globe started as a community-run library on 1 April 2017 and was officially opened on 15 June 2017 by celebrated historical novelist and academic Philippa Gregory.
We serve Stokesley and surrounding districts, including Ingleby Greenhow, Seamer, Carlton, Great Broughton, Ingleby Arncliffe, Swainby and Chopgate.

We are used to answering all types of enquires.
We have a wide range of books available to borrow.
Volunteers can be anyone over the age of 16!
Friends of The Globe are invited to key events!
Local businesses are invited to become Sponsors.
The Globe Code Club restarts at 4pm on Monday 31st October and will continue every Monday during Term Time.

The Globe's Chess Club returns! Drop-in sessions will be held every other Tuesday, 3.30-5pm.
The club is open to all ages...
A new Club - iPad for Seniors - will meet every Tuesday afternoon in term time. PLEASE NOTE NEW DAY!

From Saturday 1st April the library will be open for longer on Tuesdays and Fridays.
The Globe will be showing The Banshees of Inisherin on Saturday 25th March, 7pm. Age classification 15. Tickets £5 from The Globe. NO TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED ON THE DOOR
