Yorkshire Rotters Visited The Globe

How do you make a smoothie using pedal power?  Yorkshire Rotters visited The Globe on Friday to show our young members how it can be done.  What else could they do using their own effort rather than electricity?

Children were also introduced to a small wormery.  The little creatures live in the container and are fed waste vegetable matter and other cellulose-based materials which they turn into compost.  Ask any of the youngsters for the full details, they’d love to tell you!

The Rotters brought along plenty of information to share on how to reduce waste and save resources.  A very entertaining and informative morning. Thank you Rotters.
