Summer Reading Challenge 2021 - World Wide Heroes

Summer Reading Challenge 2021 - World Wide Heroes

by Sue Ward

A challenge for all 4-11 year olds from Stokesley and the surrounding area.

The Summer Reading Challenge is designed for children of all reading abilities aged 4 to 11. They can read any books they like - fact books, stories, joke books, picture books - it’s up to them. Audio books count too. As long as they are borrowed from the library, they all count.

Children or their parents/carers can enrol at The Globe by filling in a registration card.  If the child isn’t already a member of the library we can enrol them for free.

Everybody gets a WILD WORLD HEROES poster when they start, and there are stickers and rewards when they have read two books, four books and six books. There is also a medal and a certificate for everyone that finishes.

We shall start a gradual enrolment on Monday 5th July (we still have to limit the numbers in the library at any one time).  Last date for enrolment is Saturday 21st August and the scheme finishes 1pm on Saturday 11th September.
