Stokesley Community Online Shed for teenagers and young adults

Stokesley Community Online Shed for teenagers and young adults

by Sue Ward

We are pleased to announce that our Code and Robotics Clubs have won a cash grant to set up a Stokesley Community Online Shed for teenagers and young adults. The aim is to get participants communicating and collaborating in a way that suits their lifestyle; building life skills through the use of coding.

The Shed will be a place to have fun, share experience, skills and knowledge and gain a renewed sense of purpose and belonging. It will reduce isolation and feelings of loneliness, allow people (of whatever age) to deal with mental health challenges more easily and remain independent, and rebuild communities.

We will let you know as soon as we have more details, but in the meantime if you’d be interested in taking part please let us know - email library.theglobe@gmail.com
