The Globe Coffee Morning - Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who helped to make last Friday’s Town Hall coffee morning such a success.  The Volunteers worked tirelessly before the day and during the morning.  They baked so many superb cakes that we felt overwhelmed.  Strangely, there isn’t one left!

Thank you also to the public for coming in for a hot drink and cake.  The chilly weather may have helped us, but people stayed to try their luck on the tombola, bought books and went home with more cakes from our stall.

We don’t have the final figures yet but we believe we shall have raised more than £460 to help to keep the library open.
