Single Events coming up in January

New Ukulele Class – Thursday 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th January, 9.00am-11.00am.  Run by Martyn Cresswell

Adult Learning Drop-in Session - Monday 14 January, 10.30-11.30am
NatWest Community Banker - Monday 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th January, 2-5pm.  Drop-in sessions for banking help and support.
Craft and Chat - Will restart in mid - February. 
Children’s Knitting Club – First meeting on Monday 21st January, 4-5pm. For 5year olds and upwards, just drop in.  This club will meet on the 3rd Monday of each month.

The Globe 2019 Short Story Competition - The Globe Short Story Competition will be held again in 2019.  We are very pleased that Newtons will be the sponsor again for this.  See our website to download an entry form, or ask for one at the desk..


Talk - Thursday 7 February, 2.30pm. Talk by Vincent Duffy, Retired Scenes of Crime Officer.

Citizens’ Advice Bureau – every Monday 2-4pm (also every Friday, 10am-12pm)

Coding Club – every Monday in term time – 4-5pm – ages 9-13.  Under 7s must be accompanied by an adult.

The Globe Reading Club - 2ndMonday in month – 2pm

Tuesday

The Globe Junior Book Club – every 3rdTuesday in term time – 4-5pm – ages 7-12

The Globe Knitting Group – Tuesdays, 2pm

The Globe Chess Club – Every 3rd Tuesday – 3-6pm.  Open to all ages, just drop in.

Craft and Chat – Every 2 weeks on Tuesday – 2-4pm.  Re-starts in February.

3D Printing Club – every week in term time, from 4pm.  

Thursday

Knit and Natter – every other Thursday, 10.00am

Adult Education – drop in sessions – usually last Thursday of each month. Times vary.

Friday

Citizens’ Advice Bureau – every Friday 10am-12pm (also every Monday, 2-4pm)

Storytime for 5s and under, 10.30am in term time.  

Others

Book Start Bear Club – for very small book lovers (5s and under)
