The Globe Quiz Night

The Globe Quiz, set by Alan Sidgewick, was a huge success.  More than 60 competitors in 12 teams spent their Friday evening trying to answer general knowledge questions and identify people and places from pictures.  

The competitors brought picnics and the library rang to cheers (and some boos)!  Proceeds from the tickets and the raffle will be used to keep the library open.

The Quiz was won by the team Eternal Optimists, closely followed by the Neutrinos.

Alan has offered to run another Quiz for The Globe in the Spring.  We accepted straight away.
