The Globe Short Story Competition – calling all 14-17 year olds

by Gill DeCosemo

The deadline for submitting your Short Story Competition entry is 5pm on Monday 30 April for both over 18s and 14-17 year olds.

Do you have a short story you wrote earlier, maybe for an assignment?  Dig it out, give it a polish and enter The Globe Short Story Competition.

Pick up an entry form and competition rules from the library desk or E-mail library.theglobe@gmail.com to ask for an electronic copy.  You can submit your entry on-line too!

The winner of both categories will receive £100 and the runner up £50.

Winners will be announced on Friday 25 May at the Short Story Competition presentation and celebration starting at 6.30pm in The Globe.  There will be storytelling by Chris Bostock and readings from some entries. The event is open to everyone, look for the posters.
