How can I become a member of The Globe library?
You can join the library at any age and it is free!
Ask at The Globe Reception Desk – you will be enrolled, you can choose from a selection of card designs and add a secret PIN to your account (for use when using The Globe computers or requesting books etc from the online library catalogue).
You can enrol online now but you will still need to come to The Globe Reception Desk to choose your card and add your PIN.
Borrowing and Renewing Books and other Items
Children can borrow up to 10 items on their ticket.
Adults can borrow up to 10 books and 10 other items.
Books and other items are borrowed for 3 weeks. They can be renewed for a further 3 weeks via:
An escalating fine will be incurred if the items are returned after their due date.
Items in stock in other North Yorkshire libraries and/or not currently available in The Globe can be reserved for a small fee.
