Welcome to the Globe, your community library at Stokesley, managed and delivered by volunteers, in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council.

The Globe

The Globe started as a community-run library on 1 April 2017 and was officially opened on 15 June 2017 by celebrated historical novelist and academic Philippa Gregory.

We serve Stokesley and surrounding districts, including Ingleby Greenhow, Seamer, Carlton, Great Broughton, Ingleby Arncliffe, Swainby and Chopgate.

Willow Weaving Class - Rabbits and Hares

Held every Monday afternoon (2-4pm) and Friday (10am-12pm).  Drop in to these sessions for free advice from the Citizen's Advice Bureau.

The Globe Activities at Stokesley Show

Come to The Globe’s Stand (No 51) at Stokesley Show.  Children can build their own activity book for a small fee and have their photograph or selfie taken with Gnasher (adults welcome too)!
