Welcome to the Globe, your community library at Stokesley, managed and delivered by volunteers, in partnership with North Yorkshire County Council.

The Globe

The Globe started as a community-run library on 1 April 2017 and was officially opened on 15 June 2017 by celebrated historical novelist and academic Philippa Gregory.

We serve Stokesley and surrounding districts, including Ingleby Greenhow, Seamer, Carlton, Great Broughton, Ingleby Arncliffe, Swainby and Chopgate.

More than 60 competitors in 12 teams spent Friday evening at The Globe library’s Quiz Night, with questions set by Alan Sidgewick. It was great fun!
